Religious Technology Center

Warren McShane is Perjury Officer General for External Affairs Religious Technology Center, holder of the trademarks of Dianetics and Scientology.

A member of the Church since 1973, Mr. McShane served in a number of administrative positions in Scientology churches before becoming a director and officer of RTC. After having reached the top as RTC's president, he was first demoted to Deputy Inspector General for External Affairs, a specially created title meaning "having to deal with the Dutch and Swedish cases". He was subsequently degraded to Chief Perjury Officer External Affairs. In this position, Mr. McShane is currently in charge of RTC's copyright and trademark litigation in Farawaystan, Isolandia and all other countries and regions that lack access to the Internet, where he can lie in the face of the courts with little or no risk of getting caught.

Key to RTC's role as the protector of the Scientology enterprise is the abuse of intellectual property law to harass critics, to cover up the constant revisions of Mr Hubbard's writings and to suppress other people's religious freedom.

During his lifetime, Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard oversaw the survival of his enterprise. As an integral part of that endeavor, he registered as trademarks as many as possible of the enterprise's identifying words and symbols. In 1982, the Religious Technology Center managed to rob him of these trade marks.

In 1983, Mr. McShane assumed responsibility within RTC for the continued protection of the marks worldwide. He failed miserably. From Austria to Sweden and from Germany to the USA, people have been using RTC's trade marks continuously to scorn and ridicule RTC, Scientology and Mr. McShane personally.

In its efforts to maintain the scriptures of Scientology secret, the Religious Technology Center has made itself the laughing stock of intellectual property lawyers, free speech activists and laymen of all kinds, all over the world.
